Living in the heart of red-rock country

I had an opportunity to live and work in Canyonlands National Park in Utah for three months. What an amazing three months.

I was a Student Conservation Association (SCA) intern, working as a park guide. Living in the park, surrounded by endless scenic wonders, was a dramatic experience. Vivid sunrises, clear skies, vast views, brilliant sunsets, and the darkest night sky I've ever seen.

Here's a small taste of the beauty of Canyonlands.

Introduction

Hello, My name is Scott. I like to explore the world, but mostly National Parks. I have been to 32 parks so far. It is my dream to one day visit them all. When I visit the beautiful parks I make sure to take lots of pictures, because I also love photography. I made this blog as a way to show you my pictures and the adventures that went along with them.

Someday I will post pictures of my past travels. But for now I leave you with this picture of Canyonlands National Park.
